Used Tanning Beds
Pre-Owned Tanning Beds
When looking to purchase a
tanning bed
it's understandable that you'd look at used tanning beds. After all shouldn't used tanning beds be cheaper than new tanning beds? This would be a fair assumption, after all this is why the used car market exists - used cars are cheaper, so too should be tanning beds.
The truth is used tanning beds can be as expensive, or even more expensive, than a brand new entry level tanning bed. Consider this, a used tanning bed is usually available from a tanning salon. Not very often will a tanning salon dispose of a perfectly working tanning beds, instead they dispose of tanning beds wen they're too costly to run and maintain. The tanning salon has decided it's cheaper for them to buy brand new
commercial tanning beds
than it is to maintain their existing beds. How then would this be a deal for you?
Very often used tanning beds are purchased with worn out tanning lamps (or no lamps), worn out lamp starters, worn out hydraulics, and worn out acrylic. In extreme cases used tanning beds may have worn out lamp holders, worn out ballasts, or worn out internal fans. After replacing all of these components the price of a new tanning bed will seem cheap, compared to a used tanning bed.
